The Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Examinations published its 2023 examination priorities yesterday (February 7th). Some of the priorities highlighted in the publication of interest to the alternative investment industry include New Investment Adviser and Investment Company Rules, RIAs to Private Funds, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Emerging Technologies and Crypto-Assets.
